Police have hit a Walton man with three more voyeurism charges after finding several movie clips and photographs apparently taken at a local tanning salon on a hard drive seized from the man's home, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Ryan Kenneth McCabe, 37, Walton, was originally arrested in March on a felony charge of voyeurism as well as a misdemeanor charge of false informing. The night he was arrested, police also seized an external hard drive from his home.
Police arrested him again Monday on three additional counts of voyeurism stemming from what police believe are three separate incidents of photos and video being taken over the walls separating tanning beds at Maxx Tan, 3225 E. Market St., Logansport.
Logansport police and an Indiana State Police trooper reportedly discovered photos and videos, some showing unclothed women, "hidden" within folders on the hard drive, a police affidavit indicates.
Police working with staff at Maxx Tan were able to identify three women in the videos. Timestamps on those videos put them as having been taken Dec. 23, 2014, and on Feb. 3 and March 6 of this year.
Police reportedly identified McCabe in at least three other videos.
Records from the tanning salon confirm that two of the women were in tanning booths next to booths that McCabe was in on the dates videos were taken, the affidavit indicates.
McCabe posted a $1,000 cash bond Tuesday, April 21. An initial hearing in the case is set for May 7 in Superior Court I, court records indicate.
