8:04 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Broadway near 18th Street. Vehicles driven by Douglas W. Powell, 33, Logansport, and Steve E. Titus II, 34, Walton, collided. Both drivers reportedly left the scene of the accident. Powell reported the crash later that night. Titus abandoned his vehicle one block away. It had a flat tire. Titus came to the Logansport Police Station July 30 to retrieve his vehicle. It had been towed because it did not have a license plate. Powell was cited for unsafe lane change. Titus was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Monday on a charge of accident hit and run. Logansport Police Department.

5:20 a.m. — Arrest. Nicole A. Osborn, 29, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of probation violation. LPD.

8:50 a.m. — Theft. A woman reported that her husband’s wallet, garage door opener and cell phone were stolen. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

10:08 a.m. — Arrest. Jonathan P. Powers, 32, Logansport, was arrested on charges of burglary and theft. CCSD.

11:55 a.m. — Theft. Someone reported that a person broke into their house in the 300 block of McDonald Street in Royal Center and stole $30. CCSD.

1:43 p.m. — Theft. A woman reported a CD was stolen from her vehicle parked at Lake Cicott Trailer Park. CCSD.

10:09 p.m. — Arrest. David A. Elpers, 50, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of contempt of court. LPD.

11:36 p.m. — Arrest. Troy A. Landes, 36, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

12:57 a.m. — Theft. Brian Burket, Walton, reported change, bills and pop stolen from the Pepsi machine at The Island Oasis. LPD.

1:08 a.m. — Arrest. Dustin A. Curry, 23, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of probation violation. LPD.

1:09 a.m. — Arrest. Juan P. Hernandez, 25, Logansport, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. CCSD.

6:26 a.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly broke into the Pioneer Elementary School in Royal Center and vandalized several rooms. CCSD.

8:50 a.m. — Theft. Sometime between July 13 and Tuesday, someone stole 1,000 feet of insulated copper wire from an irrigation system in a farmer’s field. Estimated loss is $7,000. CCSD.

10:05 a.m. — Theft. Jenny Boens, Logansport, reported a bike stolen from her residence. LPD.

10:50 a.m. — Property damage. Jason Mitchell, manager of Emmaus, reported a damaged fence. LPD.

11 a.m. — Theft. Amy Denny, Logansport, reported her Dell laptop computer stolen from vehicle. LPD.

1:45 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Erie Avenue and 10th Street. Vehicles driven by Leonardo Ventura, 32, Logansport, and Lonnie Beebout, 28, Logansport, collided. LPD.

1:55 p.m. — Arrest. Joseph Babb, 58, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. CCSD.

2:10 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, 18th Street and Erie Avenue. Vehicles driven by Holly R. Ward, 22, Kokomo, and Carla K. Shaeffer, 53, Delphi, collided. A passenger in Ward’s vehicle, Nolan L. Brankle, 3, Kokomo, sustained a contusion on his head. LPD.

3:09 p.m. — Theft. A homeowner in the 3300 block of Georgetown Lane reported items from his shed keep coming up missing and the battery from his truck has been stolen. CCSD.

4:34 p.m. — Criminal mischief. The concession stand at the Twelve Mile Park was reportedly broken into. CCSD.

9:26 p.m. — Arrest. William D. Ciavardoni, 54, Logansport, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and criminal recklessness. Galveston Police Department.

9:50 p.m. — Arrest. David W. Levine, 25, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery, possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule 4 drug. LPD.

2:39 a.m. — Arrest. Eden Perez, 25, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. LPD.
