PERU — State police said they discovered a meth lab inside a shed at a Miami County trailer park thanks to a tip from a local resident.
Troopers said they received a tip that drug activity was going on at Lot 237 in the Woodland Hills Trailer Court.
After receiving permission to search the property, police said, troopers found a meth lab inside a shed located on the lot. Troopers also searched the trailer, in which they found meth and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation led to the arrest of John Wilson, 48, and Sondra Stabler, 53, both from Peru, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of chemical precursors and possession of meth.
Wilson faces an additional charge for manufacturing meth.
Both are incarcerated at the Miami County jail.
