Anytime Fitness

The Anytime Fitness on Market Street has closed, allowing it’s club members to cancel their memberships or transfer them to the closest Anytime Fitness location.

The Logansport Anytime Fitness franchise closed for good on March 13, and the building at 4003 E. Market St. is up for sale or lease.

The building cost is $349,900 for the building and land, and lease terms are available, according to Logansport realtor Galloway Murray & Scheetz.

The listing doesn’t state anything about the fitness equipment included.

Members received a letter on Feb. 13 and another on March 12 telling them about the closing. The business also had a notice on the door informing its customers.

Despite a call to the business shortly after the first letter, the franchise owners didn’t contact the Pharos-Tribune for comment.

The company stopped billing members for the Logansport location on Feb. 13, according to the final letter. The local members have the ability to transfer membership to another Anytime Fitness by March 27.

The letter listed the Peru and Monticello franchises of the company as nearby locations for possible membership transfers. If they do not transfer, their membership will be cancelled.

Those curious about the situation can reach ABC Financial, which handles billing, at 888-827-9262.

Paid-in-full members can contact “Maggie” at, the final letter states.
