LMH vaccine 0004

Serenity Alter, administrator at the Cass County Health Department, is given the COVID-19 vaccine by Linda Webb, chief nursing officer at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, at Logansport Memorial Hospital on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, in Logansport.

The Indiana Department of Health is hosting a free COVID-19 testing and vaccination mobile clinic at the Cass County Fairgrounds from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday and Saturday.

PCR tests and rapid tests will be available, but rapid tests will be reserved for children under 18 and symptomatic individuals at least 50 years old due to limited supply. Indiana’s COVID dashboard at coronavirus.in.gov said people should receive PCR test results in two to three days.

Appointments are not required, but people can pre-register at coronavirus.in.gov by selecting the tab labeled “Find a vaccination site” at the top of the page.
