A Logansport man is scheduled for April 24 trial on two Level 6 felonies: strangulation and domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old.
Jacob August Rozzi, 24, received the trial date at his initial hearing on May 7 and will next appear in court on May 19 regarding the $500 bond set for him, according to court documents.
He also has a pretrial hearing set for June 6 and a final pretrial set for Aug. 5.
Cass County Sheriff’s deputies booked Rozzi into the Cass County Jail at 8:42 a.m. Friday on a warrant. The charges against Rozzi include a Class A misdemeanor interference in reporting of a crime charge.
He faces a sentence of six months to two-and-a-half years on each felony and up to a year on the misdemeanor.
