Book Sale: The Logansport-Cass County Public Library’s February book sale is under way until 8:45 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the library’s meeting room. Customers may purchase bags for $3 each today, and fill the bag with as many books as it will hold. On Saturday bags may be purchased for $1 each. Breakfast: New Waverly United Methodist Church will host a breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Donations will be accepted.

Doughnut Sale: The Walton Lions’ Club is having doughnut sales 7 to 10:30 a.m. The Lions offer a variety of cake doughnuts for three for $1 or $4 a dozen. 

Children’s Valentine Party: Children of all ages are invited to the Logansport Mall for a valentine party. The party will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday next to Waldenbooks. Each child will go home with homemade valentines and a valentine treat.
