Melissa (Crispen) and Mark Lowry Jr.

Melissa Crispen and Mark Lowry Jr. were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Logansport. Dr. Mack Goeglein officiated at the ceremony.

A wedding reception was held at The Apollo Club, Grissom AFB.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Deanna Crispen, Logansport.

The groom is the son of Mark and Cheri Lowry, Logansport.

Emily Crispen, sister of the bride, Logansport, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Angie Manges, cousin of the bride, Royal Center, Katelyn Graybeal, Indianapolis, Lacey Berkshire, cousin of the bride, Logansport, Brittany Smith, Indianapolis, Allison Bruck, Indianapolis, and Sarah Lowry, sister of the groom, Logansport.

Emme Grisez, Logansport, was the flower girl.

Adam Kurtz, Lafayette, was the best man. The groomsmen were Jeff Manges, Royal Center, Kevin Diete, Chicago, Jared Wynn, Lafayette, Mario Leggero, Chicago, Derek Hershberger, Lafayette, and Daniel Moss, Indianapolis.

Adam Lowry, brother of the groom, Logansport, was the ring bearer.

Lane Berkshire, cousin of the bride, Logansport, Ryan Slavens, Logansport, and Scott Sider, Chicago, served as ushers.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Logansport High School, and a 2007 graduate of IUPUI. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public health administration and is the director of daycare services at the Broadripple Animal Clinic.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Logansport High School, and a 2007 graduate of St. Joseph’s. He earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education and is the health and P.E. teacher and baseball coach at Brownsburg Schools.

The couple took a honeymoon trip on a Southern Caribbean Cruise and reside in Brownsburg.
