Andrew and Kristin Thomas Shafer

— Kristin Lynn Thomas and Andrew David Shafer were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, in Promiseland, Austin, Texas. Pastor Ricky Poe officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Laura and Alan Seiler, Austin, Texas.
The groom is the son of Donna and David Shafer.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Anna Hernandez and Carolina Flores, Manor, Texas, were the maids of honor. The bridesmaids included Caitlin Anderson, Austin, Texas, Kristina Trevino, Pflugerville, Texas, and Kaitlyn Hallum, sister, Manor, Texas.
Aaron Rush, Logansport, was the best man. The groomsmen were Jonathon Sellers, brother-in-law, Austin, Texas, Landon Kemnitz, Austin, Texas, Jonathan Blakey, Plano, Texas, and Jason Wike, Dallas, Texas.
Kayley Seiler, sister of the bride, Manor, Texas, and Kaycie Dowling, niece, Logansport, were the flower girls.
Kody Dowling, nephew, Logansport, was the ring bearer.
The groomsmen also served as ushers and acolytes.
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Seiler and family assisted at the reception.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Manor High School. She also attended Issachar Institute in 2007. She is a preschool teacher at Children’s Court-Yard in Plano, Texas.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Logansport High School, and a 2006 graduate of Master’s Commission, Austin, Texas. He works at Barnett Signs in Dallas, Texas and is a music minister at Legacy Fellowship Church in Richardson, Texas.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Orlando, Fla., Disney World and The Beach and reside in Texas.
