Shannon M. Perry and Michael A. Schmaltz were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, in San Diego, Calif. Peter Gravin officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Frank Perry, Seattle, and Connie Perry, San Diego, Calif.

The groom is the son of Ed and Cindy Schmaltz, Royal Center, and Olive Wade, Pattaya, Thailand.

Glynis Hubbard, San Diego, Calif. was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Caitlin McLees, Emmi Pulkkinen and Andrea Kiefer, all of San Diego, Calif.

Mark Schmaltz, brother of the groom, Fishers, was the best man. The groomsmen were Dan Schmaltz, cousin, Boston, Mass., Jeremy Klinkhamer, San Diego, Calif., and Derrick Miller, cousin, Bakersfield, Calif.

Breann Wiezork, San Diego, Calif., was the flower girl.

Jack Stock, San Diego, Calif., was the ring bearer.

Jason Myers, brother, Rothschild, Wis., served as the usher.

Music for the wedding was provided by guitarist Eric Larson, cousin of the bride, Orange County, Calif., and vocalist Glynis Hubbard, San Diego, Calif.

The reception was held at The Dana on Mission Bay.

The bride is a graduate of the University of North Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is an account manager at Levelor/Kirsh.

The groom is a graduate of Purdue University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision and is the regional sales manager at John Sterling Corporation.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
