Today

Senior lunch: New Waverly United Methodist Church will serve lunch for seniors from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the meal.

Candidate forum: A candidate forum sponsored by the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of Cass County will start at 7 p.m. in McHale Performing Arts Center. The event will feature candidates for Indiana Senate District 18, Indiana House District 24, Cass County council and county coroner.



Thursday

Fish fry: New Hope Lutheran Church is holding a Dan’s fish fry from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. The cost is $8.50 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Presale tickets are $8 for adults and $4.50 for children. For information, see any member or call (574) 583-5486.



Friday

PMH fundraiser: Pulaski Memorial Hospice will be holding a “Tastefully Simple” fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the front lobby of Pulaski Memorial Hospital.  Caston fundraiser: A Nelson Port-a-Pit chicken fundraiser has been planned from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Caston football field. Tickets can be purchased from any Caston football player for $7.

LHS tailgate: Spring Creek Christian Church is hosting dinner from 6 to 7 p.m. in front of Ultimate Fitness in the Cass Plaza parking lot before the LHS home football game. There will be free hot dogs, chips and drinks for the first 200 people who stop by the tables.

Battle of the Badges: Battle of the Badges blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the All Saints Elementary Annex Building, 121 Eel River Avenue. To schedule a donation, call (800) GIVE-LIFE. Walk-ins will be welcome.
