Coin show: The Logansport Coin Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Logansport. The event will feature free identification of coins and bank notes. Approximately 15 coin dealers will be on hand from around Indiana. These will include specialists in the United States and foreign coins and paper money. Admission is free.

Fire Prevention Day: Logansport Fire Department and Firefighters Local 470 are hosting Fire Prevention Day from 1 to 3 p.m. at Riverside Park. There also will be an open house at the Central Fire Station from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be fire truck rides, the Fire Safety House will be available, free Carousel rides and free Pepsi and popcorn.

Leathercraft session: Logansport Public Library is hosting a Leathercrafting session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. For information, call (574) 722-3071.
