Flower sale: The Fulton Improvement Committee will be selling annual and perennial flowers from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mill Creek Family Restaurant in Fulton. There also will be a selection of hanging baskets.

Flower sale: The Fulton Improvement Committee will be selling annual and perennial flowers from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mill Creek Family Restaurant in Fulton. There also will be a selection of hanging baskets.

Tuesday
Spring concert, art festival: Columbia Middle School is holding a spring concert including the choir and concert band at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. An art exhibit will be on display from 5 to 6:30 p.m. by the art room. Also performing will be the jazz band from Lincoln and Columbia Middle Schools. Admission is free.

Thursday
Visiting author: Local history writer W.C. Madden will be visiting from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Program Room at the Monticello Union Township Public Library. The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
