Today

Bake sale, quilt raffle: A bake sale and quilt raffle will be held beginning at 6:30 a.m. in the Memorial Hospital lobby. The quilt will be raffled at noon. Tickets are available at the bake sale or from Nancy Williamson.

Flower sale: The Fulton Improvement Committee will be selling annual and perennial flowers from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mill Creek Family Restaurant in Fulton. There also will be a selection of hanging baskets.

Chicken dinner: The Pioneer Parents Football club will be hosting a Nelson’s Port-A-Pit chicken dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pioneer High School parking lot. The dinners will be available for curb side pick up only. Tickets can be purchased from the Pioneer High School book store or from any Pioneer football player or manager.

Fish fry, bake sale: A fish fry and bake sale fundraiser has been planned from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Building 3790, 1023 Erie Ave. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. Bake sale: The Pioneer Panther Volleyball Club is having a bake sale and basket raffle from 5 to 8 p.m. in front of Rural King.



Saturday

Stamp Out Hunger: Mail carriers will be collecting food for the Stamp Out Hunger food drive. Place non-perishable food donations next to the mailbox before they deliver mail. Those with post office boxes may drop off items at the post office.

Plant sale: A perennial plant sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the lower parking lot of Calvary Presbyterian Church, 701 Market St. There also will be ornamental grasses, sugar maples and pin oaks. In addition to plants, garden themed craft items, ornaments and stepping stones will be offered.

Port-A-Pit dinner: Cross-Wind United Methodist Church is hosting a Nelson’s Port-A-Pit chicken dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. The dinner costs $7. Carry-outs only.

Jazz performance: A jazz quintet, Charresa Lawson and Friends, will be performing from 7 to 9 p.m. in Boondockers. Admission is $5 per family of four or $2 per person. Appetizers are $3 per person and beverages are $1 each. For more information, call the Cass County Arts Alliance office at (574) 735-ARTS.
