Garden Party: The Mary Dykeman Guild will host its Sixth Annual Garden Party from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the grass and patio near Medical Office Building East. A large tea cup will be raffled. Tickets may be purchased in the Gift Shop now or during the Garden Party. The raffle will be drawn at 1 p.m. and those who purchase tickets need not be present to win. Wednesday
Chicken bash, bake sale: St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church is hosting a Hap’s chicken bash and bake sale from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the church, 430 Ninth St. Enter the Fellowship Hall on the Spear Street side. Tickets are $7.50 for adults at the door and $3.50 for children ages 8 and under. Baked goods also will be available at the chicken bash. Tickets may also be ordered by calling the church office at (574) 753-4227 for $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under age 8.
Friday
Chicken dinner: The Pioneer Parents Football Club will be hosting a Nelson’s Port-A-Pit chicken dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pioneer High School parking lot. The dinners will be available for curbside pickup only. Tickets can be purchased from the Pioneer High School book store or from any Pioneer football player or manager.
Fish fry, bake sale: A fish fry and bake sale fundraiser has been planned from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Building 3790, 1023 Erie Ave. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under.
