Cass Superior Court I (Honorable Thomas Perrone presiding)

Denise C. Bendel, 45, Logansport, violated her probation. The court reinstated 18 days in the Cass County Jail on the original charge of neglect of a dependent. Probation was ordered to continue. She received credit for nine days.

Jeffrey A. Weaver, 46, Lucerne, violated his probation. The court reinstated 90 days on in-home detention on the original charge of dealing in marijuana.

Crystal Helderman, 27, Logansport, violated her probation. The court reinstated 61 days in the Cass County Jail on the original charge of maintaining a common nuisance.

Dajuan Mims, 46, Logansport, pleaded guilty to two counts of neglect of a dependent, pursuant to a plea agreement. Mims was sentenced to eight days in the Cass County for the first count and one and a half years on probation. For the second count, to be served concurrently with the first, Mims was sentenced to one year on probation. He was ordered to pay $514 in costs and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. He was ordered to enroll and complete parenting classes. He received credit for four days.

Cass Superior Court II (Honorable Rick Maughmer presiding)

Levi Norris, 21, Logansport, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, pursuant to a plea agreement. Norris was sentenced to 58 days in the Cass County Jail. He was ordered to pay $214 in costs. He received credit for 29 days.

Hector Lopez, 32, Logansport, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, pursuant to a plea agreement. Lopez was sentenced to 180 days on probation. He was ordered to pay $464 in costs and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Michael Phillips, 46, Lafayette, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, pursuant to a plea agreement. Phillips was sentenced to one year on probation. He was ordered to pay $614.50 in costs. His license was suspended for 90 days.

Manuel Cabello, 21, Wabash, pleaded guilty to battery, pursuant to a plea agreement. Cabello was sentenced to one year on probation. He was ordered to pay $164 in costs.

Mark Bell, 48, Logansport, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, pursuant to a plea agreement. Bell was sentenced to 54 days in the Cass County Jail. He was ordered to pay $164 in costs. He received credit for 27 days.

Paul Aviles, 30, Grovertown, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, pursuant to a plea agreement. Aviles was sentenced to 24 days in the Cass County Jail. He was ordered to pay $214 in costs. He received credit for 12 days.

Billy Bob Shaffer, 63, Logansport, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, pursuant to a plea agreement. Shaffer was sentenced to one year probation. He was ordered to pay $614.50 in costs and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. His license was suspended for 90 days.
