Douglas L. LaPlante, 50, Flora, pleaded guilty to theft, pursuant to a plea agreement. LaPlante was sentenced to 214 days in the Cass County Jail. He was ordered to pay $264 in costs and restitution in an amount to be determined to Logansport Municipal Utilities. He received credit for 107 days.
Michael Black, 45, Plymouth, pleaded guilty to non-support of a dependent child, pursuant to a plea agreement. Black was sentenced to three years on probation. He was ordered to pay $164 in costs and $21,760.82 restitution to the victim.
Chad Brew, 28, Logansport, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, pursuant to a plea agreement. Brew was sentenced to 20 days in the Cass County Jail and 345 days on probation. He was ordered to pay $614.50 in costs and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. His license was suspended for one year. He received credit for one day.

Cesar S. Sandoval, 26, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, pursuant to a plea agreement. Sandoval was sentenced to 60 days in the Cass County Jail. He was ordered to pay $214 in costs.
Curtis Wayne Lewis, 19, Royal Center, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated causing death, pursuant to a plea agreement.
