Jessica M. Armstrong, 21, Logansport, violated her probation. The court reinstated four days in the Cass County Jail on the original sentence of theft. Court ordered in-home detention to continue.
Stephanie M. Hartman, 27, Royal Center, pleaded guilty to theft. Hartman was sentenced to one and a half years on probation and 24 hours of community service. She was ordered to pay $264 in costs and $1,540 restitution to Bonnells Grocery.
Brian J. Hunt, 35, Logansport, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, pursuant to a plea agreement. Hunt was sentenced to two years in Department of Correction. The sentence is to be served concurrently with a charge of interference with reporting a crime. He received one year in Department of Correction. He also pleaded guilty to habitual offender, to be served consecutively to the first two counts. He was sentenced to three years in Department of Correction. He was ordered to pay $264 in costs and restitution to victim in amount to be determined. He received credit for 333 days.
Jamie A. Baumgart, 24, Logansport, pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy. Baumgart was sentenced to 60 days in-home detention. He was ordered to pay $214 in costs and complete domestic violence classes. The sentence is to be served consecutively with a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced for 60 days on in-home detention and 305 on probation. He was ordered to pay $514 in costs. He received credit for 21 days.
Earl R. Sherman II, 27, Logansport, pleaded guilty to domestic battery. Sherman was sentenced to four days in the Cass County Jail and 361 days on probation. He was ordered to pay $214 in costs and complete domestic violence classes. He received credit for two days.
Joaquin Torres Aquino, 53, Logansport, pleaded guilty to false informing. Aquino was sentenced to 16 hours community service. He was ordered to pay $824 in costs.
James P. Beck, 44, Logansport, pleaded guilty to domestic battery. Beck was sentenced to 222 days in the Cass County Jail. He was ordered to pay $314 in costs. He received credit for 111 days.
