Police blotter: Sept. 17, 2013

Friday

9:16 a.m. — Crash. 12th and Spear Street. Vehicle driven by Leigh Scott, 19, Logansport, struck a vehicle driven by Mary Sammons, 59, Logansport. Both drivers and infant in Scott’s vehicle were transported to Memorial Hospital by Rural/Metro ambulance. Logansport Police Department.

10:10 a.m. — 400 block of Front Street. Complainant reported an attempted theft of dog at residence. LPD.

12:21 p.m. — Crash. 611 W. Market St. A vehicle driven by Diana Sutton, 53, Logansport, collided with a vehicle driven by Renee T. Rolls, 55, Logansport. LPD.

8:17 p.m. — 815 Linden Ave. David Wiltshire, 66, reported that a vehicle struck his vehicle then left the scene. LPD.

9:30 p.m. — Crash. Pamela Conrad, 48, Logansport, collided with another parked vehicle. LPD.

Saturday

10:17 a.m. — Crash. 3201 E. Market St. Harold Hilligas, 80, and Steven Vogland, 62, both of Logansport, were involved in a property-damage accident.

12:50 p.m. — 315 14th St. Vehicles driven by Charles Horn, 58, Logansport, and Vickie Holts, 59, Logansport, collided in the parking lot of Marsh. LPD.

2:50 p.m. — Crash. Royal Center Pike. Patricia Green, 19, Logansport, left the roadway and collided with a fence and concrete post. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

3:52 p.m. — Residential entry. 700 block of E. Market St. Complainant reported her apartment had been entered and her vehicle had been stolen over night. LPD.

3:59 p.m. Crash. 3920 E. Market St. Vehicles driven by Kellie Braumbaugh, 55, Camden, backed into a parked vehicle driven by Randy Sturgeon, 27, Logansport. LPD.

5:50 p.m. — 1100 block of East Broadway. Complainant reported a TV, camcorder and clothes were stolen. LPD.

11:37 p.m. — Arrest. Martin Baltazar, 30, Logansport, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated prior, operating while intoxicated over .15, and operating while intoxicated endangering. LPD.

Sunday

10:07 a.m. — 200 block of Wheatland Avenue. Complainant reported the rear window on his vehicle was broken while it was parked. LPD.

11:55 a.m. — 1400 block of Balsam Street. Complainant reported passenger side and back window were broken out. LPD.
