Police blotter: Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013

Friday

10:47 a.m. — Theft. 1300 block of North Street. Complainant reported four DVDs stolen from her vehicle while parked overnight. Logansport Police Department.

5:27 p.m. — Crash. 2520 E. Market St. Scott Imler, 26, Logansport, and Judith McNary, 74, Logansport, were involved in a minor traffic accident. LPD.

Saturday

7:51 a.m. — Theft. 200 block of Mall Road. Complainant reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle while she was parked. LPD.

8:55 a.m. — Theft. 2300 block of Spear Street. Complainant reported that the water heater and copper wiring were removed from a residence he just purchased, sometime over the last three weeks. LPD.

11:31 a.m. — Crash. 318 3rd St. Carl Simons, 84, Logansport, struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot. LPD.

12:55 p.m. — Arrest. Julio Francisco, 28, Logansport, was arrested on charges of domestic battery, with children present, D felony, and reissued charges of operating never licensed, no financial responsibility, expired license plates, resisting law enforcement, and two counts of public intoxication. LPD

11:31 p.m. — Arrest. Avery Christopher Brown, 23, Niles, Mich., was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Sunday

1:24 a.m. — Arrest. Eric Paul Stepp, 35, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant of failure to appear, C misdemeanor, and charges of resisting law enforcement, A misdemeanor and criminal confinement, D felony. LPD.

1:42 a.m. — Arrest. Curtis Neal Hite, 49, Logansport, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, C misdemeanor, and operating whit a BAC over .15, A misdemeanor. LPD.

7:05 a.m. — Theft.. 600 block of 13th St. Complainant reported a 32-inch flat screen TV was stolen from her residence. LPD.

10:50 a.m. — Theft. 700 block of Lafayette Drive. Complainant reported her medication was stolen. LPD.

11:38 a.m. — Arrest. Shannin Dawn Daugherty, 38, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of probation violation. LPD.

2:31 p.m. — Traffic hazard. Third Street and Broadway. Complainant advised that a semi truck, that was turning, hit the signal box of the street light and kept driving. LPD.
