Police blotter, Friday, May 10, 2013

Wednesday

9:32 a.m. — Theft, receiving stolen property. 600 block of Walnut Avenue. Complainant reported theft of power tools. Logansport Police Department.

9:33 a.m. — Arrest. Robert Wayne Bennett, 47, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of theft. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

10:30 a.m. — Arrest. Linda Lee Alvarez, 27, Fairoaks, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. CCSD.

12:44 p.m. — Arrest. Patrick Jon Fultz, 23, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation. CCSD.

5:14 p.m. — Arrest. Christina Marie Kumler, 24, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant for possession of meth and charges of possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance. CCSD.

6:14 p.m. — Arrest. Richard Louis Baker, 48, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. CCSD.

7:19 p.m. — Crash. 18th and Market streets. Delores Galbreath, 79, Winamac, struck a vehicle driven by a juvenile female. LPD.

9:10 p.m. — Arrest. Jesus Rodriguez-Torres, 38, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation. CCSD.

9:53 p.m. — Criminal mischief. 2626 George St. Evelyn Downs, 63, Logansport, reported her vehicle was vandalized. LPD.

 

FIRE REPORTS

Wednesday

11:11 a.m. — First responder call. 510 State St. Logansport Fire Department.

3:20 p.m. — Illegal burning. 600 W. Linden Ave. LFD.

6:00 p.m. — EMS assist. 940 West St. LFD.

6:28 p.m. — EMS assist, disregarded en route. 1931 1/2 Spear St. LFD.

6:31 p.m. — Accident with minor injuries, put down oil dry. Third and Market streets. LFD.

7:18 p.m. — EMS assist. 1403 Michigan Ave. LFD.

9:40 p.m. — Lift assist. 360 W. Broadway. LFD.

11:28 p.m. — Dispatched for unknown fire. Upon investigation, found homeowner having a campfire. 730 Race St. LFD.
