Police Blotter, Oct. 17, 2012



9:46 a.m. — Domestic battery, 600 block of West Melbourne Avenue.  A woman reported that she was struck. No further information was  available. Logansport Police Department. 

10:04 a.m. — Theft, 2000 block of Emmet Drive. A woman was told  by her daughter that it looked like items were missing from her  property. LPD. 

10:56 a.m. — Theft, 400 block of Howard Street. A man reported that  two car speakers and  coins were stolen from his vehicle. LPD. 

11:41 a.m. — Theft, 200 block of Eel River Avenue. A man reported  the theft of jewelry, currency and silver coins from his residence.  LPD.

3:08 p.m. — Theft, 400 block of West Linden Avenue. A woman  reported a theft. LPD. 

6:44 p.m. — Burglary, 700 block of Helm Street. A woman and man  reported that a black safe containing jewelry was missing from their  residence. LPD. 


2:14 a.m. — Theft, 800 block of Wheatland Avenue. A man reported  that his black TOATOA brand mo-ped was stolen from his residence. LPD.



10:46 a.m. — First responder call, 3303 Maplewood Drive. Logansport Fire Department. 

11:03 a.m. — First responder call, 2019 North Street. LFD. 

6:27 p.m. — Assist medic, Third and High street. LFD. 

6:47 p.m. — Service call, 1578 Ind. 17. Cass County Fire District/New Waverly Fire Department. 


3:35 a.m. — Assist medic, 1352 N. 350 West. CCFD/NWFD. 

8:34 a.m. — Fire alarm activated, 500 W. Clinton St. LFD.
