Police blotter, Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013

Friday

2:19 p.m. — Recovered stolen property. 3801 East Market St. A woman reported that a handgun was located at the motel. Logansport Police Department.

5:26 p.m. —  Theft. 14th and Spear streets. A woman reported her cell phone stolen from her vehicle. LPD.

9:32 p.m. — Theft. Goodwill, 3500 East Market St. A woman reported someone entered her vehicle and stole her cell phone. LPD.

Saturday

12:37 p.m. — Arrest. Cody McDonald, 19, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of criminal recklessness. LPD.

1:56 p.m. — Crash. 500 block of West Market Street. A vehicle driven by Norma Gearhart, 82, Logansport, struck a vehicle driven by Cathleen Hallam, 45, Logansport. There were no injuries. LPD.

2:19 p.m. — Crash. 2707 George St. A vehicle driven by Andy Nomany, 41, Logansport, was in a collision with a vehicle driven by Mary Mortor, 56, Logansport. There were no injuries. LPD.

2:22 p.m. — Crash. East Broadway and West Roselawn Avenue. A vehicle driven by Dawn M. Paul, 38, Logansport, was in a collision with a vehicle driven by Jorge Sandoval, 50, Logansport. There were no injuries. LPD.

10:36 p.m. — Theft. 700 block of North Third Street. A man reported his cell phone stolen. LPD.

Sunday

8:59 a.m. — Non-vandalism. Third and Fountain streets. A man reported damage to a guard rail. LPD.

3:38 p.m. — Theft. 2300 block of North Street. A man reported the theft of books from his residence. LPD.

11:10 p.m. — Crash. 2800 block of George Street. A 17-year-old juvenile was in a collision with a vehicle driven by Jeffery Savage, 22, Logansport. There were no injuries. LPD.

Monday

4:36 p.m. — Theft. 600 block of Bates Street. A woman reported someone stole a handgun from her vehicle. LPD.

4:37 p.m. — Suspicious circumstances. East Point Muffler, 3227 East Market St. Police responded to a report of a single bullet hole in the business. The suspect and time of the incident is unknown. LPD.

5:16 p.m. — Crash. Main St. Market, 315 14th St. A vehicle driven by Cynthia Beall, 57, Logansport, backed into a vehicle driven by Sara Salmas, 44, Logansport. There were no injuries. LPD.
