Police blotter: Wednesday, March 20, 2014

POLICE REPORTS

Tuesday

7:47 a.m. – Arrest. Brent Alan Harshman, 25, Kokomo, was arrested on a charge of battery. Logansport Police Department.

11:23 a.m. — Burglary. 200 block of 10th Street. Complainant reported that the home had been entered and items were stolen. LPD.

12:45 p.m. — Criminal mischief. Accents of Elegance, 520 Erie Ave., Complainant reported that someone broke out a glass window of the business. LPD.

1:57 p.m. – Arrest. Jasmine Louise Bolen, 21, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of theft. LPD.

2:19 p.m. – Arrest. Kayla La Raine Ousley, 22, Logansport, was arrested on a parole violation. LPD.

4:27 p.m. — Crash. 200 block of Fourth Street. A vehicle driven by JianYing He, 31, Logansport, backed into a parked car. LPD.

5:06 p.m. — Crash. North Cicott and West Market streets. A vehicle driven by Beth Roberts, 44, Logansport, was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. LPD.

6:25 p.m. – Arrest. Michael Charles Hettinger, 57, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated endangering and failure to stop after a property-damage accident. LPD.

7:14 p.m. – Arrest. Maria Del Carmen Mireles-Ruiz, 34, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. Galveston Police Department.

8:06 p.m. – Arrest. Tony Allen Mellor, 25, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of possession of synthetic drug or look-alike, A misdemeanor. LPD.

11:45 p.m. – Arrest. Bradi Marie Burgess, 22, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of possession of legend drug, D felony. LPD.

Wednesday

12:35 a.m. – Arrest. Justin William Chanley, 34, Logansport, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement and reckless possession of paraphernalia. LPD.

1:26 a.m. – Arrest. Travis Lee Simpson, 27, Logansport, was arrested on a parole warrant. LPD.

FIRE REPORTS

Monday

5:10 p.m. — Assist medics. 610 Woodside Drive. Cass County Fire District/New Waverly Fire Department.

Tuesday

11:03 a.m. — Assist medics. 820 Hilltop Drive. CCFD/NWFD.

12:52 p.m. — Dispatched for a gas leak. 209 Wheatland Ave. Logansport Fire Department.
