Tuesday

12:30 p.m. — Property-damage accident, E. Market and 20th streets. A witness reported seeing a vehicle driven by Kayla J. Walrod, 18, Peru, drive over a curb and strike a sign and tree without stopping. Walrod received a ticket for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. Logansport Police Department.

Thursday

10:25 a.m. — Property-damage accident, 1401 Aster St. A vehicle driven by Edgar E. Matias Barrios, 38, Logansport, reportedly slid on ice and struck two parked vehicles. LPD.

12:30 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 1533 Meadlawn Ave. A vehicle driven by Mark A. Warpenburg, 26, Logansport, reportedly slid on ice and struck a utility pole. LPD.

Friday

8:04 a.m. — Property-damage accident, 2019 Burlington Ave. A vehicle driven by Jose L. Portlla, 29, Logansport, struck a fence on the east side of the road. LPD.

8:30 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Davis Road and Winding Brook Trail. A vehicle driven by Thomas A. Evanich, 42, Logansport, struck a retaining wall on the west side of the street. LPD.

8:37 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly broke into an unlocked vehicle in the 1800 block of Smead Street and stole a stereo. LPD.

9:57 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly broke into three unlocked vehicles in the 2100 block of George Street and stole an undetermined amount of change. LPD.

10:05 a.m. — Personal-injury accident, High Street and West Roselawn Avenue. A vehicle driven by Jose C. Martinez, 46, Logansport, reportedly slid on ice, jumped a curb and struck a tree. Passenger Mario Maria, 54, Logansport, complained of chest pain. LPD.

10:24 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly broke into an unlocked vehicle in the 2100 block of Wright Street and stole an undetermined amount of change. LPD.

11:25 a.m. — Personal-injury accident, Broadway and Fifth Street. A vehicle driven by Lori A. Musall, 45, Logansport, reportedly slid on ice and hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Charles D. Burks, 86, Logansport. Musall complained of neck pain, and Burks complained of pain to the knee, lower leg and foot. Betty J. Burks, 84, Logansport, a passenger in Burks’ vehicle, also complained of neck pain. LPD.

2:39 p.m. — Arrest. Brendan Nial Ormsby, 21, Galveston, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant. Galveston Police Department.
