Thursday

6:08 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Market Street near Mall Road. A vehicle driven by Elizabeth A. Huff, 18, Logansport, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by McKenna M. Kline, 17, Logansport, after getting rear-ended by a vehicle driven by someone who fled the scene. Logansport Police Department.

Friday

8:09 a.m. — Shots fired. Someone reportedly fired a gun behind a residence in the 3600 block of East 375N. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

11:35 a.m. — Animal complaint. Cows were reported loose in the 1000 block of East 350S. CCSD.

10:59 a.m. — Property-damage accident, alley behind 2324 North St. A vehicle driven by Armandina Sadler, 61, Logansport, backed into a parked vehicle. LPD.

5:49 p.m. — Animal complaint. Cows were reported loose near Ind. 16 and U.S. 35. Royal Center Police Department.

Saturday

7:35 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Ind. 16 and 950E. A vehicle driven by Stephen L. Ellis, 58, Kewanna, struck a deer. CCSD.

11:58 a.m. — Property-damage accident, 1530 E. Market St. A vehicle driven by Dorinda A. Stackhouse, 63, Logansport, backed into a parked vehicle. LPD.

Sunday

12:47 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole steaks from a grill in the 200 block of East May Street in Walton. CCSD.

3:30 a.m. — Arrest. Scott Alan Cripe, 23, Logansport, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication and warrants for domestic battery and illegal consumption. LPD.

2:31 p.m. — Arrest. Jeremy Wayne Strayer, 20, Logansport, was arrested on charges of domestic battery, strangulation and battery. LPD.

5:10 p.m. — Arrest. Eh Klu Tal Day, 18, Fort Wayne, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. LPD.

5:21 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a wallet from a purse inside Polsis Bar & Grill, 1139 Erie Ave. LPD.

5:49 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole 100 CDs, a cell phone, an IPod, a camera, a knife, cologne, medication and several other items from a vehicle in Logansport. LPD.

Monday

12:20 a.m. — Arrest. Brandon Akers, 36, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery. LPD.

12:54 a.m. — Arrest. Frank Charles Karmolinski, 41, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. LPD.
