Police blotter, Sept. 23

Saturday

2:04 a.m. — Criminal mischief. Police arrested two juveniles for allegedly bending the antenna and ransacking the glove compartment box of a vehicle in the 100 block of 10th Street. Logansport Police Department.

Monday

2:11 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly broke the windows of several vehicles parked in the 200 block of Mall Road and stole stereos. LPD.

5:04 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Melbourne Avenue and Third Street. Vehicles driven by Jose Mendoza Meza, 22, Logansport, and Maria E. Inyavong, 27, Logansport, collided. Meza was cited for operator never licensed. LPD.

9:17 a.m. — Personal-injury accident, 436 Michigan Ave. A truck driven by Randy Baker reportedly backed into Heather Eskidsen, 23, Logansport, who had been walking across the parking lot of the McClure Gas Station. The impact knocked her down and caused a leg injury. LPD.

12:20 p.m. — Arrest. Donald Lee Jackson Jr., 34, South Bend, was arrested on a charge of probation violation. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

12:58 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Broadway and Sixth Street. Vehicles driven by Steven H. Brook, 39, Logansport, and Angela D. VanArsdale, 41, Logansport, collided. VanArsdale complained of neck pain. LPD.

1:20 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Mall Road near High Street. Vehicles driven by Itsuko Winn of Logansport and Judith A. Wilson, 65, Rochester, collided. LPD.

1:46 p.m. — Arrest. Roger Allen Bates, 28, Mount Sterling, Ill., was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. CCSD.

2:27 p.m. — Burglary. Someone reportedly broke into a residence in the 13600 block of South Main Street in Young America and stole items. CCSD.

2:31 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a purse and radar detector from a vehicle in the 3300 block of East Market Street. LPD.

2:42 p.m. — Arrest. Courtney Diane Hartley, 20, Monon, was arrested on a charge of theft. CCSD.

3:20 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 1 Berry Lane. A vehicle driven by Wilber F. Bonilla, 18, Logansport, backed into a parked vehicle. Bonilla was cited for a learner’s permit violation. LPD.

3:55 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Sixth Street and Michigan Avenue. Vehicles driven by John R. McWherter, 74, Royal Center, and Joseph W. Dillman, 44, Logansport, collided. Dillman complained of pain. LPD.

4:30 p.m. — Burglary. Someone reportedly broke into a residence in the 1000 block of 19th Street and stole jewelry and a digital camera. LPD.

4:55 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a weed eater from a back yard in the 100 block of Wheatland Avenue. LPD.

5:36 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a wallet left at a car wash change machine on Sixth Street. LPD.
