Police blotter, Aug. 29

THURSDAY

2:58 a.m. — Property-damage accident. A Logansport man reported his parked vehicle had been hit in the parking lot of Good N Plenty at 1701 Jefferson St. LPD.

3:07 a.m. — Domestic complaint. There was a complaint reported on the 900 block of 15th Street. LPD.

8:05 a.m. — Suspicious circumstances. A vehicle at 500 South and 700 East was unoccupied but the dome lights were on. CCSD.

8:17 a.m. — Juvenile problems. A boy left school on a bicycle from the 100 block of Landis Street.

10:53 a.m. — Suspicious circumstances. A neighbor reported possible drug activity on the 1600 block of George Street. LPD.

11:04 a.m. — Theft. It was reported that tools had been stolen and believed to be pawned from the 1500 block of Spear Street. LPD.

11:22 a.m. — Arrest. Gregory Adams, 55, Chicago, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. CCSD.

Noon — Domestic complaint. There was a reported complaint on the 900 block of Helm Street. LPD.

12:33 p.m. — Unwanted guest. A man reportedly refused to leave a residence on Cass County Road 450E. CCSD.

4:15 p.m. — Theft. Shoes were reportedly stolen from the 2600 block of East Market Street. LPD.

6:19 p.m. — Arrest. Robert Lee Cart, 41, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. CCSD.

7:10 p.m. — Juvenile problems. About 10 youth were reportedly swimming at a stone quarry. CCSD.

7:40 p.m. — Arrest. Lora Ann Baugh, 44, Twelve Mile, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, refusal. CCSD.

7:45 p.m. — Domestic complaint. Verbal altercations were reported on the 1400 block of Wright Street. LPD.

7:52 p.m. — Vehicle found. A vehicle that was reported stolen from Logansport was found in Lafayette. LPD.

8:20 p.m. — Arrest. Matthew Bryne Beck, 34, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant accusing him of theft. LPD.

8:49 p.m. — Fight. Two white males were reported to be fighting in the Eagles parking lot. LPD.

10:10 p.m. — Arrest. Ronnie Earl Jackson, 46, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery. LPD.

11:56 p.m. — Burn complaint. A neighbor reported the burning of grass, wood and old books in the 300 block of Beal Street. CCSD.
