Monday

5:48 a.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly slashed a vehicle tire in the 1100 block of East Broadway. Logansport Police Department.

7:45 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a checkbook from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of 16th Street. LPD.

9:21 a.m. — Arrest. Amanda Rose Edwards, 29, Kokomo, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

12:24 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 401 Tanguy St. A vehicle owned by Melissa R. Vaughn of Logansport was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. LPD.

2:26 p.m. — Arrest. Eduardo Remerez-Estrada, 32, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of theft. LPD.

3:35 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a bicycle from the 600 block of West Melbourne Avenue. LPD.

4:07 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 431 W. Miami Ave. A vehicle owned by Mildred Lamb of Logansport was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. LPD.

4:46 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Market and Sixth streets. Vehicles driven by Craig A. Freeman, 42, Logansport, and Kimberly S. Walker, 49, Logansport, collided. Walker complained of neck pain and said she was going to go to Logansport Memorial Hospital. LPD.

5:09 p.m. — Check deception. Someone reportedly wrote a $2,020 check to Kinzie Building Surplus and Storage that came back as “insufficient funds.” LPD.

5:45 p.m. — Fraud. Someone reportedly stole checks from a residence in the 2000 block of Spear Street and cashed one for $200. LPD.

6:43 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly drove off without paying for $89.83 in fuel from McClure Gas Station, 1607 N. Third St. LPD.

8:32 p.m. — Arrest. Michael Lee Boreman, 19, Twelve Mile, was arrested on charges of escape and failure to appear. CCSD.

9:43 p.m. — Someone reportedly shot paintballs at three houses in the 100 block of South Street in Onward. CCSD.

Tuesday

1:49 a.m. — Arrest. Michael Jon Bormann, 50, Royal Center, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended. CCSD.
