7:31 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a CD player from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 100 block of Fountain Street. Logansport Police Department.

9:31 a.m. — Arrest. Jacob Adam Wright, 25, Delphi, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

2:46 p.m. — Arrest. Jerald A. Hart, 20, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor. LPD.

6:04 p.m. — Arrest. Carl Daniel Adkins, 34, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury. LPD.

12:30 p.m. — In-service on fire fighting career, Century Career Center.

4:11 p.m. — Short in wire outlet causing light smoke, 1098 Ind. 25 South. Minor damage. Firemen were able to locate hot outlet and wires with thermal camera.
