Logan Road crash leaves one injured

A woman involved in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon was flown by helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital.
As of this morning, 56-year-old Pamela Brock of Peru was listed in serious condition at Parkview Hospital.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Brock was eastbound on Logansport Road east of 600E when her vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason. Her 1994 Saturn struck several small trees before coming to rest in a wooded area south of the road, according to a news release.
Brock was treated by the Cass County EMS and transported to Logansport Memorial Hospital. She was later airlifted by Samaritan Helicopter.
The road was closed for nearly an hour as a result of the crash. Sgt. Jill Rife and the New Waverly Fire Department assisted at the scene.
