Lake mishap injures one

MONTICELLO — Two people on a jet ski crashed into a seawall Wednesday, but only one sustained injuries.

Indiana conservation officers are investigating a watercraft accident that happened on Wednesday on Lake Freeman. According to a press release, the operator of the jet ski, Anna M. Crosser of Monticello, and a passenger were on the watercraft when she approached a dock at a high rate of speed.

According to an investigator, Crosser was traveling about 40 mph when they struck a seawall.

Both occupants were wearing life jackets.

Crosser complained of knee and shoulder pain and was taken to White County Hospital. The passenger was unharmed.
