9:41 a.m. — Criminal gang activity. Someone reportedly spray painted a garage in the 1300 block of East Market Street. Logansport Police Department.

9:58 a.m. — Criminal gang activity. Someone reportedly spray painted a garage in the 700 block of West Broadway. LPD.

10:35 a.m. — Criminal gang activity. Someone reportedly spray painted a garage in the 800 block of West Linden Avenue. LPD.

3:42 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Market and 25th streets. Diane M. Lynch, 38, Logansport, reportedly over-applied the front brake on the moped she was riding. She was thrown to the pavement. The moped continued to tumble into the rear of a vehicle driven by Daniel A. Wisner, 39, Logansport. Lynch suffered an injury. LPD.

4:40 p.m. — Arrest. William Edward Scheibelhut, 31, Galveston, was arrested on a charge of probation violation. Galveston Police Department.

4:56 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a bicycle from a residence in the 800 block of West Linden Avenue. LPD.

5:38 p.m. — Criminal gang activity. Someone reportedly spray painted a garage and privacy fence in the 600 block of 12th Street. LPD.

8:44 p.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reported three flat tires on a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Woodlawn Avenue. LPD.

8:56 p.m. — Arrest. James Robert Welts, 27, Logansport, was arrested on charges of failure to appear, burglary and resisting law enforcement. LPD.

MOPED ACCIDENT: A moped ridden by Diane M. Lynch, 38, Logansport, overturned in the 2400 block of Market Street about 3:40 p.m. Monday, throwing the rider to the pavement. Logansport police reported that the moped continued into a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Daniel A. Wisner of Logansport. Lynch suffered a facial injury in the accident, but the report did not say whether she was taken to the hospital. The Logansport Fire Department also responded to the accident.
