Friday

3:44 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Meadowview Drive and Perrysburg Road. A 5-year-old boy was reportedly injured by a moving vehicle at the intersection of Meadowview Drive and Perrysburg Road. The boy sustained abrasions and was treated at the scene. A black vehicle was witnessed leaving the scene. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

4:03 p.m. — Lost property. Someone in the 400 block of East Colfax Street reported a license plate and vehicle registration missing from the vehicle. Logansport Police Department.

6:28 p.m. — Arrest. Joshua Nathan Saunders, 23, Kewanna, was arrested on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury. CCSD.

10:44 p.m. — Arrest. Luis Antonio Carreon, 30, Logansport, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and public intoxication. LPD.

11:54 p.m. — Arrest. Daniel Lynn Ross, 42, Logansport, was arrested on a reissued warrant, and charges of possession or marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. CCSD.

Saturday

1:47 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a baby crib and stroller from the yard at a residence in the 500 block of W. Market Street. LPD.

7:40 a.m. — Property-damage accident, High and Ninth streets. Vehicles driven by Jesus Salazar, 40, Logansport, and Craig E. Sell, 46, Logansport, collided after Salazar reportedly pulled out into the High Street intersection. Salazar was arrested after he left the scene on charges of resisting law enforcement, criminal recklessness and reckless driving. He was also cited for disregarding a stop sign, leaving the scene of a property-damage accident, no insurance and operator never licensed. LPD.

1:07 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a cell phone from a residence in the 900 block of North Street. LPD.

Tuesday, 3:20 p.m., police arrested Lee E. Hawkins, 35, 200 block of East Vine Street, Bunker Hill, on a warrant charge of failure to appear in court on two charges of check deception.

Tuesday, 4:30 p.m., police arrested Gage M. Barnett, 18, 3600 North Pleasant Lane, Mexico, on a charge of theft.

Tuesday, 6:37 p.m., deputies arrested Irene L. Pence, 38, Marion, on a warrant charge of failure to appear in court on charges of dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana less than 30 grams.

Tuesday, 5:35 p.m., deputies arrested Jackie A. Morris Jr., 20, 500 block of West 10th Street, Peru, on charges of possession of a schedule IV substance, possession of marijuana less than 30 grams and two charges of neglect of a dependent.

Tuesday, 5:35 p.m., deputies arrested Tiffany A. Morris, 22, 500 block of West 10th Street, on two charges of neglect of a dependent.

Wednesday, 2:30 a.m., deputies arrested Daryn S. Fritz, 26, 3700 block of North Pleasant Lane, Mexico, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Wednesday, 4:30 a.m., police arrested Jerry W. Miller, 60, 1000 block of East Wheeler Street, Kokomo, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Thursday, 12:27 a.m., deputies arrested Ryan W. Eldridge, 28, 2100 block of Leffel Lane, Mexico, on a warrant charge of failure to appear in court on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Thursday, 11:55 a.m., police arrested Dustin E. Hammitt, 18, 20 block of Plaza Drive, Peru, on a charge of battery.

Thursday, 7:30 p.m., police arrested Melvin K. Bowsman, 51, 800 block of North Maple Street, Converse, on a charge of public intoxication.

Friday, 3:25 a.m., deputies arrested Susan E. Hiers, 42, 3000 West block of County Road 500 South, Peru, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
