DELPHI — Three people were arrested Wednesday when police served a search warrant on a Delphi residence.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Delphi Police Department served the warrant at the home of Wendy M. Seibert, 409 N. Washington St. During the search, police found marijuana and paraphernalia, according to a news release.
During the investigation, police learned that Seibert was on the way to Delphi from Hammond. A traffic stop was conducted on Seibert’s vehicle once it returned to Carroll County, and police found more than a pound of marijuana.
Seibert was arrested on felony charges of possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia and dealing in marijuana.
As police were searching the residence, a vehicle arrived and two people were arrested on unrelated charges.
Andrew T. Seibert of Delphi was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement, battery on law enforcement, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Matthew W. Troyer of Delphi was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
