7:35 p.m. — Property-damage accident, U.S. 35 and 800S, Walton. A vehicle driven by Shelly A. Wallace, 33, Walton, struck a stop sign after reportedly swerving to miss a vehicle that disregarded a stop sign. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Wednesday

7:05 a.m. — Property-damage accident, U.S. 35 and 475N. Michael S. Swartzell, 43, Logansport, struck a deer. CCSD.

Thursday

8:59 a.m. — Theft. A two-wheel tow dolly was reportedly stolen from the 400 block of Olden Avenue in Royal Center. CCSD.

9:08 p.m. — Arrest. Sara Michelle Handschu, 19, Logansport, was arrested on charges of stalking and harassment. CCSD.

9:42 p.m. — Arrest. Amy Louise Bandy, 27, Logansport, was arrested on charges of forgery, theft, attempted theft and unlawful possession of a legend drug. CCSD.

5:13 a.m. — Property-damage accident, 350S near 850E, Onward. A vehicle driven by Brett A. Shupperd, 43, Walton, struck a deer. CCSD.

3:39 p.m. — Property-damage accident, U.S. 24 near 100W. A tractor trailer driven Donald J. Richtsmeier, 61, Ackley, Iowa, was making a U-turn when it struck a vehicle driven by Mark E. Rivers, 58, Logansport. CCSD.

6:14 p.m. — Theft. A wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Massachusetts Avenue. CCSD.

11:15 p.m. — Theft. A wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 5300 block of Ind. 25. CCSD.

4:15 p.m. — Property-damage accident, North and Seventh streets. A vehicle driven by Conn L. Berkshire, 43, Logansport, backed into a parked vehicle. Logansport Police Department.

4:45 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 200S and 850E. A vehicle driven by Thomas J. Newton, 17, Peru, struck a tree after sliding while going around a curve. CCSD.

7:22 p.m. — Arrest. Cory E. Reed, 20, Rensselaer, was arrested on a charge of theft. LPD.

12:28 a.m. — Arrest. Albertio Antino Ramirez-Mendoza, 26, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

12:42 a.m. — Arrest. Henry Yadir Soto, 24, Peru, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. LPD.

1:18 a.m. — Property-damage accident, 401 W. Market St. A vehicle driven by Glen J. Paszkowski, 45, Logansport, backed into a parked vehicle at Arby’s. Paszkowski was arrested for operating while intoxicated. LPD.

4:36 a.m. — Arrest. Kendara Rachelly Wiggins, 20, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant for check deception. CCSD.

8:30 a.m. — Arrest. Brook McKee, 45, Logansport, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant. LPD.

9:28 a.m. — Criminal mischief. A man reported vandalism to a headstone at Royal Center Cemetery. CCSD.

2:07 p.m. — Arrest. Cody Lee Bean, 19, Logansport, was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and minor consumption. CCSD.

3:08 p.m. — Theft. Checks were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of East Broadway. LPD.
