Police blotter, Feb. 8

Friday

1:57 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Cicott Street near Market Street. Vehicles driven by Jeffrey L. Denny, 52, Logansport, and Sebastian Bartolome-Santiago, 20, Logansport, collided. Bartolome-Santiago was arrested on charges of operator never licensed and false informing. Logansport Police Department.

3:34 p.m. — Theft. The owner of Holiday Inn Express reported that an employee had been letting people associated with a local fitness facility stay at the hotel without paying. The amount now owed reportedly totaled $40,000. LPD.

8:41 p.m. — Battery. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend punched her in the face in the post office parking lot. LPD.

Saturday

5:12 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 1200 block of North Street. A vehicle driven by Mayra Sanchez, 22, Logansport, was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. LPD.

8:12 p.m. — Arrest. Timothy Allen Malott, 31, Logansport, was arrested on a body attachment warrant. LPD.

11:21 p.m. — Arrest. Alejandro Alva-Torres, 23, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. LPD.

3:50 a.m. — Arrest. Crystal Helderman, 27, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

3:50 a.m. — Arrest. Brittney Gellinger, 24, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

3:50 a.m. — Arrest. Matthew Swavey, 25, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

3:50 a.m. — Arrest. Robert Helderman, 26, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

3:50 a.m. — Arrest. Nicholas Boonstra, 22, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

4:05 a.m. — Arrest. Zachery Hamilton, 21, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. LPD.

3:36 p.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly broke windows of three vehicles in the 600 block of Cliff Drive and also set fire to a kayak and a dirt bike. LPD.
