PUBLIC FORUM: Letters from Sept. 11, 2013

Thanks for supportin a time of loss

On June 8, 2013, our Heavenly Father came down, reached out his arms and said, “Suffer no more my child, it’s time to come home.” He took my beautiful mother’s hand, Betty J. Eastwood Coleman, and led her to the “stairway to heaven.”

Guardian Angel Hospice made it possible for me to bring my mom home from the hospital for her last few days. She wanted to be in her own bed surrounded by her kitties. Guardian Angel helped mom to be comfortable, they came every day, and she had the very best care.

Guardian Angel Hospice has my highest regards and recommendations.

I would like to thank Jim Crain at Kroeger Funeral Home for helping with mom’s funeral and for the prayer service he did at her gravesite.

Thank you to Mike Montgomery for the beautiful card that you sent in remembrance of my mom.

Also thank you to my neighbor Jean Ann Hooker and her granddaughter Patience for the beautiful flowers they brought to the grave-site and Jean Ann for her remembrance for my mom.

A very big Thank you to my son Josh Grandstaff, also to my daughter and son-n-law, Misty and Josh Lowe for their out pouring love and support during this difficult time with the loss of my mom and their grandma. I could not have made it without you and grandsons: Kristian Grandstaff, Austin Grandstaff, Levi Lowe and Luke Lowe.

On mom’s birthday, Feb. 5, mom got pictures taken with her new great-great-granddaughter Rebeckah Grandstaff. A picture is worth a thousand words, they are very precious.

Vicki Grandstaff
