PUBLIC FORUM: Carousel thanks the community for support

---- — Carousel thanks the community for support

Winter-fest at the Cass County Carousel is the time of the year that our nonprofit organization opens our facility free to the public. It is a day filled with free carousel rides and refreshments offered by the Cass County Carousel Inc. board members.

It is our way to say “Thank You” to our community for their continued support with our efforts to keep the carousel around for many, many years. Not only is this a time for us to show our appreciation, but it is a time for families to gather here to create memories with friends or family.

The Logansport Berryettes were here to brighten up a child’s face with face painting and to help little ones with a reindeer craft. The children took pride in showing off their designs on their face or their new ornament for their tree. Santa arrived with candy canes in tow to greet all the children who couldn’t wait to sit on his lap and tell him what they want to see under their Christmas tree.

These are just small gestures, but have a lasting impression on us all. We enjoy seeing all the visitors, old or new, and hope everyone had as much fun as we did. We would also like to thank Jarrell Orthodontics for being our event sponsor, the volunteers who donated gift baskets for our raffle and to all who helped make this event a success. We would also like to wish everyone “A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!”
