Why did agency loseits United Way funding?

I moved here 12 years ago. I have been involved with United Way and Mental Health America all that time. I want to know since you are an open agency, what did Mental Health America do?

I am down there every day, all I see is them working. In the last 12 years, I have only seen five people from United Way come to Mental Health America. I want the question answered. Why aren’t they getting money from you?

Writer asks, “Whatabout my rights?”

I am a Vietnam veteran. I fought for my country as a U.S. Marine. How many of these 1 percent can say they fought for my nation? I’m talking about the equal rights whiners of the, so called, LGBT community on, as I like to call them the way I see them, the sexually immoral 1 percent.

There is no gray area here. Read the Bible, Romans chapter 1 verses 24 through 32. This is the Christmas season how about this separation of church and state as in a nativity scene at the courthouse. Why do we celebrate Christmas? It’s not happy holidays, it’s Christmas.

Equal rights for the LGBT community? Come on. I have a sick relative living with me. We are not having sex, so no insurance for him. But if he is LGBT and sex is involved, put that person on your health insurance plan. How’s that for discrimination? I’m so tired of the 1 percent making 100 percent of the noise.

Americans, stand up and unite against evil. Yes that’s what it is — evil. And I speak for 99 percent of my countrymen. “Wake Up” my fellow Americans, make your voice heard.

The balance of our county’s fate hangs in the balance. One percent are mad? Well, I’m mad at the 1 percent. Shame on you!
