PUBLIC FORUM: Making a final plea to save Eagles club

---- — Making a final pleato save Eagles club

We have been told by our Grand Aerie agent that we have until the first week in January to improve on our business, or we will will be closed. If you are interested in seeing the Logansport Eagles continue to be a part of the Logansport community, we really need for our members and for the community to come down and patronize our organization.

We try to offer our members the best in food, entertainment and congeniality that we can, and we open our facility to the community on most weekends to allow for people to see what we have to offer in great food, entertainment and friendship — but it’s just not working very well.

Everyone who works at the Eagles is a volunteer. People always say it would be sad to see such a great organization in our community have to close its doors. We simply have to have participation by our members and the community in order to survive. Much more than we are currently experiencing. We have a great bands, but one night a week of participation won’t make it for us. So, it’s a simple scenario. We’ve done what we can to make the Logansport Eagles a successful organization. We need more people, more insight, more participation to continue.

Unless we get that by the first week in January, you’ll simply see another empty building in the downtown of Logansport. If anyone has any way to help us out, we’d certainly like to hear from them.
