“My sisters, I and our neighbor went to Bob Evans for supper to relax and enjoy ourselves. Being senior citizens, we don’t get to do that much. When we went to pay our bill the cashier told us it had already been paid. What a wonderful surprise! We just want you to know you made a hum down day into something special. Merry Christmas! God will bless you for your kindness.”

Spreading cheerwith bell’s sound

Kenny Hurlburt Jr., Star City, extends this Rose to an unknown Salvation Army volunteer:

“To the young man who was a bell ringer at the north entrance of Walmart late afternoon Friday, Dec. 6 — you said Merry Christmas to everyone that walked by, even if they did not donate. You have the spirit of giving your time to a great cause, and you were not afraid to do it. Merry Christmas, young man, and to all the young people who donate their time this holiday season. As the church sign said, ‘The most important part of Christmas ... the first six letters.’ God bless.”

All lit up

“Roses to the city of Logansport and LMU for how the downtown looks at night with the Christmas decorations all lit up.”
