Linda Ann Frantz

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — God welcomed Linda Ann Frantz, 69, Casa Grande, Ariz. into his heavenly home at 10:15 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013.

Linda was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Logansport, Ind. to Paul and Irene (Gibbons) Stonerock. She was a 1962 graduate of Logansport High School and attended Airline Stewardess School. She was married to Stanley J. Frantz on June 6, 1964, in Logansport, at the former Broadway Methodist Church.

Linda loved law enforcement and enjoyed her employment with the Cass Co. and the Carroll Co. Sheriff’s Offices. She also worked at the Logansport National Bank, Indiana BMV and Palumbo Distributors in Logansport. In Arizona, she worked for the Gila River Indian Community. She was a member of the All Saints Parish, Logansport, Ind., and served as Eucharistic Minister in the St. Anthony’s Parish, Casa Grande, Ariz.

She enjoyed socializing with her many friends made during her lifetime and enjoyed especially playing cards with the “girls” at Mission Royale, Casa Grande, Ariz.  She loved making new friends and helping others throughout her lifetime. She was a devoted mother to her sons and a devoted wife to her husband for over 48 years.

Linda is survived by her husband, Stan; three sons, SMSgt Bradley P. (Cynthia) Frantz, Valdosta, Ga., Brian A. (Lauren) Frantz, Plymouth, Ind., and Todd J. (Lisa) Frantz, Fremont, Calif.; two sisters, Annette (Michael) Smith, Lafayette, Ind. and Paulette Jordan, Casa Grande, Ariz.; and  seven grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport, Sunday, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., where a Scripture/Rosary service will be at 2 p.m. with Father Donald Eder officiating.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport, Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Dominic Petan officiating. Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery, Onward, Ind.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
