Beverly K. Suter


MACY — Beverly K. Suter, 72, Macy (Nyona Lake), Ind., passed away at 2:01 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Century Villa Health Care, Greentown.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1940, in Cass County, the daughter of Clyde T. and Mildred (Conklin) Cotner. On Jan. 2, 1959, in Florence, Ala., she married George L. Suter, and he survives.

Mrs. Suter had retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo. She had been a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Kokomo, and had been a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, oil painting, quilting and was an avid golfer, having accomplished a hole in one at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Logansport.

Survivors include her husband, George L. Suter, Macy (Nyona Lake), son, Anthony J. and wife Suzanne Suter Sr., Logansport, daughter, Nancy and husband Jody Hart, Rochester, grandchildren, Dr. Anthony J. Suter Jr., Redlands, Calif., Sara Suter, Austin, Texas, Cody Hart, Rochester, Beverly Hart, Rochester, Shawna Hart, Rochester, and great-grandson, Riley Bailey, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery, Fulton.
