Charles M. Howard


LOGANSPORT — Charles M. Howard, 68, Logansport, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at his residence.

Born on Aug. 24, 1944, in Lafayette, he was the son of the late Leroy and Bertha (Ralph) Howard.

He was a 1962 graduate of Logansport High School.

Charles retired after 20 years as an electrician at Chrysler in Kokomo. He was a member of the Electricians Union #668 in Lafayette and was a former member of the Logansport Eagles and Logansport Moose. Charles enjoyed auto racing, working on cars, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Howard of Logansport; daughter, Lisa M. Weaver (Doug) of Royal Center and her daughter, Tia R. McKee (Joshua Bell) and granddaughter, Adi Musselman; daughter, Lori K. Andrews of Ft. Myers, Fla. and her children, Lisa K. Morgan, Charlie Wilkins, Michael Wilkins, Jessica Hinson, Rachel Andrews and James Andrews and her grandchildren, Cameron Woodall, Jack Morgan, Reese Morgan, Michael Wilkins, Jr., Payton Hinson and Isaiah Lozada; and daughter, Cindy L. Howard (Bob Williams) of Kokomo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport, with Pastor Kevin Drane officiating. Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
