EL PASO — Bonnie L. DeVore, 85, El Paso, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 1:20 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at her residence.
Bonnie was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Crocker, Mo., a daughter to Otis and Mae Tomlinson DeVore. She married Truman R. Hardy on Dec. 1, 1946 in Logansport. He passed away Oct. 9, 2004.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Winick, Miami, Fla., Janet (Vance) Pogue, Mesa, Ariz., and Debra (Joe) Gilsinger, Bloomington; as well as four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters.
In 1983 Bonnie retired from Federal-Mogul in Logansport. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Logansport. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
