Eva Marie Williams

Eva Marie Williams of Logansport, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Blair Ridge Health Campus, Peru. She had just celebrated her 100th birthday in July.

Born July 30, 1912 in Osceola, she was the daughter of Clarence and Ella Long Richards. On Aug. 27, 1932, she married L. Paul Williams, who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1980.

She retired in the winter to Marathon, Fla., volunteering her time to Fisherman’s Hospital, the Moose Lodge, and the Marathon Garden Club.

Her family and friends remember her most for her wonderful servant’s heart and unending hospitality. Her door was always open to every soul, friend or foe. Her hobbies included laundering, making homemade noodles and Key Lime Pie for family members, reading voraciously, playing solitaire and burning brush piles.

Moore, Susan K. Mayhill, Daniel L. Williams, Dawn L. Smith, Donald J. Hendrixson, Robyn L. Regier, Robert B. Filgo, Jody L. Filgo, and Brandy S.
