Elizabeth J. ‘Betsey’ Luey, 70, Logansport, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born March 30, 1942, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Ves and Betty (Harrison) Corcoran. On June 28, 1978, she married Francis Luey, who survives.
Elizabeth was a 1960 graduate of Logansport High School, she was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, and she was a past president of Sigma Phi Sorority.
She retired from Logansport Memorial Hospital as a lab technician.
Survivors include her husband, Francis, Logansport; sons, Matt Wickersham (Denise), and John Wickersham, both of Logansport; stepson, Mark Luey, Norfolk, Va.; stepdaughters, Marsha (Tom Stovall) Luey, Nashville, Tenn., and Marcheta Luey, Salisbury, N.C.; brothers, Steven (Marie) Corcoran, Farmington Hills, Mich., and Charles Corcoran, Indianapolis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 701 Spencer St., Logansport, with Pastor Doug Mankell officiating. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Memorial Fund.
