Waneta M. Hartman, 82, Camden, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 10:37 pm in her daughters residence in Flora.
Born April 14, 1930 in Frankfort, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Sadie Holcom Clear. On April 20, 1946 in Logansport, Waneta married Edward A. Hartman who preceded in death on November 13, 1987.
Waneta was a homemaker. She was a member of WCTU, also an avid gardener, and enjoyed babysitting, teaching Sunday school, and quilting.
Surviving her are three daughters, Linda (Dr. Mark) Kaldahl, Mississippi; Rita (James) Weiand, Flora; and Susan (Ed) Eiler, Delphi; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Edward Leon “Red” Hartman.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Gottschalk and Dr. Mark Kaldahl officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, also in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to your local church.
