Seth A. Callaway, 22, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at 8:58 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, in the emergency room at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Seth was born April 19, 1991, in Logansport.
A 2009 graduate of Logansport High School, Seth attended Indiana University-Kokomo for two years. He was just starting a new job at Indiana Packers. During many summers, he had enjoyed working at Indiana Beach.
Seth grew up attending the Church of the Nazarene. He went through the ranks of Scouting, beginning with Cub Scouts and advancing to Boy Scout Troop 202. In 2009, he attained the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. His project involved clearing growth along the Little Turtle Waterway. Seth’s favorite holiday was Christmas. If he had his way, decorations would have been up in October and the more lights, the better. Seth also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Riley.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Brenda (Hardy) and Vince D. Angot Jr. of Logansport; his father, Edward Callaway of Lebanon; one sister, Brianne Callaway, of Kokomo; two brothers, Zac and Chase Angot, of Logansport; paternal grandparents James and Jean Callaway, Logansport; maternal grandfather, Robert Hardy, Logansport; step-grandparents, Vince D. and Cheryl Angot,Sr. Kentland; paternal great-grandparents, Bill and Dee Callaway, Royal Center; aunts and uncles, Mike (Karen) Hardy, Gloria (Ralph) Christensen, Scott (Zeb) Hardy, Annette Long, Vic (Judith) Hardy, Deb (Bob) Smith, Diane (Alan) Hale, Pam (Mike) Gleason, Douglas Callaway, Suzy (Jeff) Brown and Kristen Angot; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Velma Hardy; and paternal great-grandparents, Betty and Kenny Wilhelm.
A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Horace Smith and Dr. Dean Fager officiating.
Interment will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel.
